Manager of Financial Reporting

Description: Summary: The primary role of the Manager, Financial Reporting is the preparation and reporting of the Company’s financial statements including 10Q and 10K quarterly SEC filings. The Manager, Financial Reporting plans and coordinates the annual external audit process and providing specialized guidance on accounting related issues. Supporting the Manager, Financial Reporting are three Financial Reporting Analysts. Responsibilities:  Lead the SEC reporting compliance function including preparation of SEC filings  Prepare monthly investor financial reporting package  Prepare and review financial reporting to ensure that SEC and GAAP guidelines are applied correctly  Oversee company-wide technical accounting consultation via research on and analysis of complex accounting issues, applying relevant technical accounting guidance and interpretation  Responsible for the documentation of technical accounting position memos that support the company’s accounting conclusion on complex accounting transactions  Oversee valuation process such as equity units, business combinations, intangible impairment assessment  Establish analytical processes and develop analyses for complex accounting areas to support accounting decisions  Design, implement and maintain monitoring processes to mitigate risk of accounting errors on critical accounting areas  Plan and coordinate the annual audit process and serve as the primary point of contact with external auditors Requirements: Must be able to perform all responsibilities above successfully. In addition candidate must have the following:  Bachelors degree in accounting from an accredited college or university  Strong experience with SEC reporting requirements  Public accounting experience and CPA is strongly preferred  Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills  Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills  Proven ability to work in a team oriented environment  Proven capability of communicating effective with external auditors to ensure an efficient audit process  Proactive and motivated work ethics  Good organizational skills and the ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks Please email

Salary Range: $90k - $110K plus 15% bonus Location: Boston, MA
